MY STORY
Tired of working out at the gym and not getting the results you want? Ever look around your gym and wonder why the same people are there week in and week out but never seem to make any progress? Me too.
Cookie cutter workouts are not effective. Period. Why? It’s not exactly rocket science, it’s because no two bodies are alike. I grew up playing sports: everything from golf to hockey to baseball and basketball. I love sports, fitness and exercise to the very core. But my body never responded to the conventional methods of building muscle and gaining/losing weight. Frustrated by cookie cutter workouts I looked across the fitness industry, and decided to do something about it.
I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance and received my Certified Personal Trainer certficate from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2007. I purposed to approach fitness from a different perspective, an individual one. I have worked with clients at all levels of the fitness spectrum: everyone from the average Joe (or Jane) to athletes in rehab to police officers to cadets training for the Air Force, Army, and Navy. And experience has proven my theory to be correct: the typical fitness dogma of “one size fits all” workouts doesn’t work—at all.
The purpose of this website is to show you how you can get real results by training your body in a way that will work in your everyday life. We will discuss, fat loss, mobility, flexibility, strength training and everything in between.
